To deal with structures that are defining contemporary reality, I make use of such different disciplines as photography, video, spatial strategies and printed matter to analyze, intervene and produce alternative units of information. This process leads to the materialization of concepts and ideas into documents, images, situations and objects, creating a foundation for an analytical thought about how we can see and how we manage our new modes of social behaviour, urban infra-structures, public spheres and changing landscapes.
The role of art in an expanded system (society) can be seen as a set of individual as also collaborative network of actions. I think about art production in relation to its situations and possible functions: as intervention, pro-positive and constructive structures that are linked to production/ distribution processes related to knowledge, techniques, philosophy and communication. Art projects as building processes that activates iconic elements of the urban and public landscape, and through cultural devices (installations, publications and informational material employing printed media, photography, and film) extend the works’ resonance beyond it’s site specificity.
The aimed results are linked to the generation of knowledge, information and memory as necessary potentialities for dialogs, in individual as collaborative strategies. To establish action and production, the activation of spectator's awareness about his role in society and his position in regard to economy, politics and the media.
